Lake Lanier House
Designing with balance and care
This was originally a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom fishing cottage built in the 1950’s. We tore down every interior wall, dug the crawl space down an additional 3 ft by shovel and wheelbarrow, and then rebuilt the entire home, converting the space into a 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom with a dog spa.
The final design
I designed the new layout, picked out all of the finish materials and oversaw the project from start to finish. This client is working with me again currently, we are in the planning stages for a carriage house addition on this property as a ‘Phase 2’.
